High Fire Rating ~ In Effect - With the recent change to a “High” rating, we are now allowing propane appliances in public spaces as well as grass cutting and other work. Currently, campfires and land clearing is still banned in the Village of Anmore. The Drought Code and Buildup Index are both still very high and the amount of rain we have received so far has still not penetrated the duff layers in amongst the treed areas so we need to proceed cautiously. (Jay Sharpe, Fire Chief, L.A.F.C.)
